This work about Greek love, about homosexuality and pederasty among the Greeks, first appeared only in a compressed form of 40 pages in 1837 in General Encyclopedia of Arts and Sciences, only to appear in this French edition for the first time in an expanded and revised form. Private clothed binding, leather title label on spines with gilt lettering; dull covers, slightly bumped corners; cracked hinges inside. Slightly foxed throughout inside, but clean and tight. Good copy.
