Second state of this rare view of Constantinolple, with the addition of Murat III portrait on the last on right roundel. The engraving depicts the city of the time of the Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and offers rich information about the urban formation, the structure of the fortifications and the main prominent areas and buildings. Within the bottom roundels are presented portraits of the Ottoman Sultans while Suleiman the Magnificent is depicted horseback, surrounded by a group of Janissaries. Marginal small tears and signs of ironing on verso.
