Folio 35x23cm, pp.4. George Canning is taking the position of the Foreign Secretary and Leader of the House of Commons. In Vienna they try to prepare a new congress of European powers dealing with Greek issue. Although the Greeks fight with outstanding courage, their lack of organization is apparent. The whole south Greece is on war without a real front. Greek troops operate in Thessaly and Epirus, the Turks in Morea. Two Turkish forces have entered in Morea. One has landed in Patras and the other arrived in Argos, trying to meet in the center of Morea. Hoursit is still in Larissa as the Greek revolt spreads everywhere. Mavrocordatos returns from Messolongi to take the leadership in Morea. Greeks evacuated Arta and Omer Vrioni occupied the city. Their expedition towards Yannina is cancelled. All Turkish armies have always Greek enemy armies in their back (this was a very cleaver tactic of Kolokotronis, as Greeks could not face the Turkish army in open fields). Turkish fleet tried to help Patras. They expect the Greek fleet. Several other news for the Greek revolution.
