Rare book of 550 pages in Slavonic church language. As stated in the first leaf, it was printed in the Imperial Typography of Moscow in May 1814. Large 8vo (17x20cm), pagination follow leaves numbering. Dedication to Tsar Alexander I (Aleksandr Pavlovich), Elisabeth Alexeyevna and the royal family on first leaf. Four (4) full-page woodcut engravings of the four Evangelists. Woodcut ornaments and initials. ORIGINAL BINDING: Full leather with blind-stamping decorations in gilt and two leather clasps (one missing). Loss on first leaf and inner spine wear.
