According to Ebert, only 500 copies were printed. Greek text in Vol. I-III, comments in Latin and “Σχόλια” in Greek in Vol.IV.
Fine contemporary binding: Full marbled calf, gilt paneled covers with a combination of floral and motifs from the ancient Greek tradition, gilt turn-in decorations around the edges, yellow edges, finely decorated in gilt spines with title and vol. numbers on red Morocco.
Bumped corners and spots along boards, rubbing along joints. Occasional spotting in Vol. I, heavy toning of first 4 sheets of Vol.II & III otherwise with just occasional spotting. Cracked but still firm the joints of Vol.III & IV front covers. Small chipped parts of spines edges.
