Based on the Paris 1731 first French translation but much rarer. Including 3 scarce folding maps of Greece designed by Philippe Buache & G. Delisle and 4 folding plates.

Contemporary full calf, spines tooled in gilt.. External heavy rubbing and wear along sides and joints. Damp-staining and spotting throughout, marginalia. Small tears on 4 folding plates. Ex-libris label “Βιβλιοθήκη Σπ. Λοβέρδου” in gilt on all 4 pastedowns. Handwritten text on Vol.I free end paper dated 1805.
