First edition of this Atlas of Geography Sacra, with the engraved maps edited by Halma in Amsterdam in 1704. Most of these Halma maps are based on Tavernier or Sanson 17th century maps of sacred Geography, but all from new plates drawn by Halma, also presenting newly drawn (typically Dutch baroque) cartouches. Maps are engraved by Eland, the best Dutch engraver of its time. Impressions are sharp and clear.
