Fine copper engraved view of Kandili on the Asiatic shores of the Bosporus, presenting a festive snapshot in the foreground, with some Ottoman men dancing and others enjoying their coffee. Elephant folio (engraving: 85,5 x 50,5cm, overall: 104,5 x 66cm) on a watermarked sheet, depicting the above monumental printing’s title. Light water-stains at the bottom sheet line and slight marginal spotting without affecting printed area. Fine condition.
