Ross Ludwig, Schaubert Eduard, Hansen Christian, "Die Akropolis von Athen nach den neuesten Ausgrabungen. Ι. Tempel der Nike Apteros" Berlin, Ernst und Korn, No date but the First Edition of 1836. A more common edition appears in 1839. Volume I (no more published of this particular series). Folio, original half-calf and marbled boards, worn and generally defective. Extremely brittle, chipped edges, institutional perforated stamps to each plate. This extremely rare edition includes 12 plates (lacks plate VIII), with Plate I tinted after Hansen "Ansicht des Niketempels zu Athen... / Vue du temple de Nike A Athenes..." depicting the restorations efforts of the Temple of Athena Nike, undertaken in 1836 by Schaubert and Hans Christian Hansen.
