The front cover is cut away to reveal a dancer, of the show of Folies Bergere, being watched by a giant gorilla. Such a beast was clearly anticipating the contemporary film King Kong. Full with erotica photos from the spectacle. Folies Bergere, still one of the main cabaret shows in Paris, was famous during the 1920s.The design of their magazines, as this one, were executed by the best French artists of Art Nouveau.
