Compte de Sercey, “Une ambassade extraordinaire la Perse en 1839-1840”, Paris, 1927. First edition in 8vo, 19x14cm, original paper covers, 410p., overall very good. De Sercey was the chief of the special French embassy to Persia in 1839. He traveled through Trebizond and Armenia. His very precious travel account remained unpublished. He provides a very early detailed image on several unexplored areas that the embassy crossed towards Persia, including useful information about the Pontic Greeks.
