This exquisite work contains a 16-page essay on Greece and the Acropolis, 6-page AirFrance advertisement, as well as 32 stunning photographic plates (28 b/w and 4 duo-tone) depicting scenes, views, monuments, and people from various places of Greece: Santorini (6), Mykonos (5), Mount Athos (2), Thassos (2), Delos, Egina (4), Olympia (3), Delphi, Athens-Acropolis (4), Sunion, Mycenae, Epidauros. Amédée Ozenfant (1886-1966), the author of this rare work, was a painter active in Parisian avant-garde circles. Sheets with photos are in Fine condition with some green marks from the bookcase on the upper edge, the side parts of case are torn but in place.
