The Greek text and Latin translations of Celsus are on facing pages, together with notes from the commentaries of Boerhaave and a comprehensive subject index by Lucas Verhoofd. Lorry (1726-83) based his edition on that of Theodor Jansson van Almeloveen (1652-1712) which he considered to be the most exact. Hard cover, morocco title etiquette (in gilt). Slight foxing and spotting inside, otehrwise Very Good. Blake 213, Brunet and Hoffmann mention only the Didot edition.
