Preface in French, the rest of the text in original Greek. The first vol. includes the tragedies Aias, Electra, Women of Trachis, Philoctetes (Αίας, Ηλέκτρα, Τραχίνιαι, Φιλοκτήτης) while the second Oedipus Rex, Oedipus at Colonus & Antigone (Οιδίπους Κολωνεύς, Οιδίπους Τύραννος, Αντιγόνη). Contemporary half calf, boards and spines richly decorated in gilt, marbled edges. External rubbing and wear along extremities and corners, light spotting inside.
