Brown calfskin, spine decorated with ribbing and gilt tilte and floral motifs, gilt coat of arms on both boards; visibly bumped and rubbed externally. Front cover partially cracked on joints, rather loose binding inside; Marbled endpapers, red edges, slight foxing, some sheets detached. Handwritten ink and pencil annotations on first 4 pages, clean interior. Dappers work is as much a lamentfor the present state of Greeces past glories as it is an architectural & archaeological guide. Nice copy. Atabey, 323; Blackmer, 453.
