COMPLETE copy of the 3rd edition (first in 1831-32) with beautiful decorative views of the old (medieval) Zurich as well as many detailed images of the churches and monasteries with their cultural monuments. Publishers clothed hardcover, with title in gilt over front board along wtih embossed decoration and leather corners; some edge wear, slight rubbing throughout. Engraved initials on title page, red and black lettering. Fresh engravings.
