has the initials SAFA. The centre gold shield reads “WINNERS B.M T.D GROUP 1”. The reverse of the medal has the impressed hallmarks previously mentioned, the recipients name being G.E.TRAVERS and the date 1917-18. G.E.TRAVERS was a member of the BARNSLEY FOOTBALL CLUB who won the FA CUP FOOTBALL FINAL in 1912.

2) A silver medal inscribed on one side “TOUR BLANCHE SALONIQUE” over an engraved White Tower surrounded by trees and on the other side: “82ND B.DE R.G.A. FOOTBALL 1918” and an olive branch. Diameter: 3cm.

3) A silver medal showing football players in a field on one side and inscribed on the other: “Quo Fas et Gloria Ducunt” (Where Duty And Glory Lead) the moto of the British Royal Artillery and “RUNNERS UP”, “SALONIQUE 1918” with the impressed hallmarks mentioned in the description of the first medal. Height of the medal: 3cm., diameter: 2,5 cm.
