Very early French copper engraved map (18x14cm) of Greece by Tassin, published only once at his “Cartes de la Geographie Royalle”, the very first French Atlas containing these size map of Greece. The publication of the Tassin’s Atlas is an important event in the history of cartography, confirming the strengthen of the French position in maps production.
