In original green leather case. Lens: f3.5, 5 cm Krauss-Zeiss Tessar, iris diaphragm to f22. Serial no. 149933. Shutter: Dial-set Compur, speeds 1 – 1/300, B, T. Construction: Leather covered metal body. Format: 100, 30 x 44 mm exposures on un-perforated 35 mm film with paper backing. Focusing: Helical to 1 metre. Attributes: Eye-level frame finder. The Eka came out around the time of the Leica in 1925. It used un-perforated 35 mm film and so took larger images than the Leica. A measuring wheel locks when the film has been sufficiently advanced, to unlock the wheel a small catch is moved, which also advances the frame counter. A metal block pulls out from the base of the camera providing a tripod socket for vertical or horizontal exposures.
