Front cover from Larnaca to London. Additional 2d stamp was affixed after the obliteration of the 1/2d stamp (pl.1?). 2d stamp has the plate number “1” which is accepted as unusual for usage in Cyprus, hence unrecorded. London “PAID” datestamp 21 October 1878, just a few months after the commencing of the British Rul on the island.
