Due to the World War II, the ships were halted in Istanbul and requisitioned by the United Kingdom. The archive contains correspondence documents between the Greek Shipping Company, the Greek & British Governments, Greek embassies in Istanbul, London, Egypt, original telegrams, official agreements, lists of cargo info & ship’s logs, dating from 1941 to 1950.
