K.u.k. militär-geographisches Institut, 1881-1896. 10 maps attached on linen (50x45cm each) scale 1:300.000, Covering the Balkans region with all Bulgaria and most parts of Romania, with Burgas (Bulgaria) on SE to Targu Jiu (Romania) to NW. Original case with title in gilt on spine. This set of maps is actually an enlargement of the monumental 1:576.000 scale Von Scheda’s maps published in 1845-1847. In excellent condition. List of the maps included: Vidin, Kraiova, Sofia, Philippopel, Ruscuk, Bukuresti, Sumla, Cap. Stefanos, Cap. Gulgrad, Burgas.
