A very elaborate antique Chinese carved bone opium pipe, dating to the early 20th century. The pipe is filled with a variety of characters amongst a dense landscape of trees, flowers & buildings. The carving is packed with magnificent detail in high relief. Chinese characters/inscr. under the bowl. Length 73cm. Cracked in middle otherwise excellent.
