Gisela Marie Augusta Richter, was a prominent figure in classical archaeology and History of Art. In the current work she provides a comprehensive account of the Athenian vases collection of the Metropolitan Museum, in which she served as curator of Greek and Roman art. Ex-library perforated stamps, institutional bookplates, somewhat dusty, some shelf wear. Overall in a Fine condition.
