J. HONDIUS, P. BERTIUS, “Cyprus” – “Descriptio Cypri” (92x132mm) page 698, copperplate, coloured. A charming miniature map of Cyprus that is decorated with two sailing ships off the south coast. The title appears in a decorative surmounted by a pair of compasses. A further title above the map reads “Descriptio Cypri”. The map was published in “P.Bertij Tabularum Geographicarum…” from 1616, Amsterdam. Latin text to the verso. Zacharakis: 376/241
