A fairly early work by the prolific French artist and illustrator. About’s famous tale, based on the kidnapping of the Duchesse de Plaisance (Δούκισσα της Πλακεντίας) by the brigand Bidichi (Μπίμπισης). Early 20th cent. binding. Excellent condition
