A rare account of the geography of the Balkans, including detailed descriptions of the roads from place to place, indicating main natural & human made features of the landscape. This work, prepared by the British authorities after the WWI, is a valuable source for the Balkans economy, human and physical Geography, providing on the same time a vivid image of the area in the beginning of the 20th century. This work is a basic reference for the history of the Balkans. Very rare.
