Possibly one of the first full accounts of the Allied effort to remove Turkey from the 1914-18 war by occupying the waterway linking the Mediterranean to the Black Sea and thereby also aiding their Russian ally. 1st published November 1918, this reprint December 1918. Original red hard covers VG with slight wear lower edges, spine sunned with wear at extremities. Errata slip tipped in on FFEP, sparse pencil marks inside, e/papers lightly browned, minimal foxing
