Édouard Rahir (1862-1924) was a well-known antiquarian bookdealer, bibliographer, and publisher whose famous library was dispersed in a number of major sales in the 1930s. His Bibliothèque de lAmateur remains a standard reference work for book collectors.

Modest rubbing and wear to the extremities, bumped corners, spine with leather title label, somewhat sunned. Foxing throughout, otherwise clean and sound. Good copy.
