With 32 beautiful colour plates by Jon Fulleylove and a map, along with titlepage within ornate border of woodcut style. An early illustrated travelogue of ancient Greece at the beginning of the 20th century. Publisher’s original blue cloth, handsomely decorated in blind on the upper cover and spine; the spine lettered in gilt, medium external wear. A bright, clean and handsome copy with a bit of the typical fore-edge spotting and somewhat loose binding inside. Plates are uniformly bright and fresh. Good copy.
