The Serbian Army in North Africa (1916-1918). Military Units in Algeria. Military cover posted from “ALGER-BOURSE*4 3 16” with boxed Serbian unit marking “LAZARET de MATIFOU/DEPOT de CONVALESCENTS/DE/L ARMEE SERBE” to Paris. Contains original enclosure with additional strike of Unit Marking. Serbia military camps were established at Tunisia, where a military post office served them and apparently did not use any marking until 1918.
