COMPLETE including two fine frontispieces and a folding map by Abraham Ortelius entitled “Ulyssis Errores” of the Eastern Mediterranean depicting the Odysseus travels. The first volume includes Homer’s Iliad while in the second are gathered the Odyssey & the Homeric Hymns. Text in parallel Greek & Latin. Contemporary full vellum with blind-stamped decorations on covers, handwritten title on spine one with modern ink. Contemporary manuscript notes to first blanc sheet of vol.1 dated “1712”.
