Gearge Sandys traveled to the Levant in 1610. He provides valuable information of the Ottoman Empire, Greece, the Aegean, Cyprus, Egypt, the Holy Land, Mount Sinai, Arabia, the Red Sea, Malta and parts of Italy.

Contemporary full calf, boards with blidstamped decorations. Fine ex-libris label in gilt “Βιβλιοθήκη Σπ. Λοβέρδου”. Rebacked, External wear along edges and corners. Inside: Signs of mainly marginal water-stain until pp 48 & pp.205-225, small paper patches covering small marginal holes on pp.22 & 23, tears on sheet 111-112, marginal holes until page 31.
