Circular silver medal, pierced for suspension, the face with tughra of Abdulhamid II encircled by a laurel wreath with a rose at the base; the reverse inscribed “Greek War, Day – Sunday, 23rd of Zildake (11th month of the Hejira calendar), 1314 – 1897”. Awarded to the soldiers who fought the Ottoman-Greek War. Without ribbon, framed for exhibition. Very Fine.
