Complete with many illustrations and maps. Original cloth. Moltke, a Prussian general and military advisor of the Ottoman army travelled all around Anatolia during 1835-9. He visited and described many unexplored areas of Asia Minor and provided valuable cartographic material to Heinrich Kiepert, used for the construction of the important map of Turkey.
