Moullart-Sanson, “Orbis Biblis seu Geographia Sacra, Carte de la Geographie Sacree pour l’ Ancien Testament”, Paris, 1716. Impressive, separately printed, copper engraved map (55x43cm the map plate, reaching 72x43cm with the explanation text, printed separately in two plates joint together). Moullart Sanson never produced Atlases, so his maps are all very rare. This one is among the rarest, as the map is formed by a combination of two plates, probably a very special edition. Centered in Greece, it presents all places of the Sacred Geography. Light misfold in the middle-fold, otherwise fine. Recently added in the latest Zacharakis Annex catalogue (Zacharakis 2411a). Very rare.
