Cronau Rudolf (1855-1939) was a German-American painter, illustrator and journalist, who traveled in the 80s of the 19th century, several times to the United States. He was friend of the Sioux chief Sitting Bull and reported as a correspondent from the New World. On the 400th anniversary of Americas discovery, he created this extraordinary work.
