CHERADAME A., “La Macedoine-Le chemin de fer de Bagdat”, Paris 1915. 8vo, pp. xv, 397. Contemporary publishers paperboards, worn the extremities. The French journalist A. Cheradame, travelled in Macedonia and the Levant at the beginning of the 20th century, providing a detailed account of the general situation of the Ottoman Levant, focusing in the two, main issues: the situation in Macedonia and the German expansion to Anatolia, thought the concession of the Bagdad railway to Germany. The book was initially issued in 1903, but the political evolutions of the 1st World War, and the central interest on Macedonian front, led to the continuous republishing of the book.
