The writer, after he is offered a staff Job by Sir Ian Hamilton, Commander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, travels immediately to the coasts of the Aegean and gives us a fascinating account of the battle, and the bravery of the men who fought it. Black canvas bound, gilt title on spine, no dust jacket. Bumped on extremities, otherwise good condition. Tight binding inside, edges yellowed, a few pencil lines. Ex libris labels. Good copy overall.
