Dölger Franz, "Facsimiles Byzantinischer Kaiserurkunden", Mittel und Neugriechisches Seminar der Universitat Munchen, 1931. Folio, pp. 67 + 25. On last 25 loose sheets are depicted 67 Byzantine manuscripts, many presented for the first time. Franz Dölger was a German Byzantinist notable for his crucial contributions to Byzantine diplomatics. In the current pioneer research, he revealed and studied Byzantine manuscripts from historical archives and monasteries including Patmos monastery of St. John and Mont Athos Monasteries. This early work is considered very important for the studies of Byzantine palaeography & literature. Printed in loose sheets, as issued. Original green paper covers (worn), interior in fine condition. Very Rare.
