[SCHMIED F.-L.] ESCHYLE - PROMÉTHÉE ENCHAÎNÉ, Paris, Société des Médecins Bibliophiles, 1941. In-4to (32.2 x 24.6 cm), 107,[9] unbound pages.

With 38 wood-engraved pochoir illustrations by Francois-Louis Schmied (1873-1941), of which 17 out of text and engraved by his son Theo Schmied. Limited Edition to 150 copies on vélin dArches, this is One of the first 100 numbered copies (No 25/100). French translation by Paul Mazon. The last work established by François-Louis Schmied who died at the beginning of 1941.

In original chemise, custom morocco-backed folding case, slight edge wear. Unbound sheets in wrappers, untrimmed edges. Fresh interior, minimum light stains on the last free leaf only. Bibliography: Carteret, Illustrés, IV, 151 / Monod I, 4338.
