Book illustrated with Title, two full page plates, two initials and a vignette lithographed by Jean Cocteau. Composed of two chapters, titled "Le Fantôme de Marseille", and "Le Numéro Barbette", the last leaf is dated 1926. The second of these texts (The Barbette number) was later illustrated with photos by Man Ray.

Paperback, filled cover printed in red. Paper slightly foxed in margins, otherwise Very Good condition.
