Edited by Henri Estienne, the Younger. The Homerici centones, generally attributed to Patricius, were enlarged and rearranged by Eudocia, consort of Theodosius II. The Virgiliani centones are by Proba and the Latin translation of Nonnus Paraphrasis is by E. Hedeneccius. Text entirely in original Greek for Ομηρόκεντρα, entirely in Latin for Virgilius centones and Greek with parallel translation in Latin for Nonnus Paraphrasis. Publishers device to title page. Contemporary full vellum, rather soiled, with handwritter title on spine. Dampstaining throughout, ex-libris handwritten signature & notes on first blanc with date “1861”. Brunet III 294.
