MAURRAS Charles, JOSSO Camille-Paul (ill.), “Anthinea. DAthènes à Florence. Gravures au burin de Camille-Paul Josso”, Au dépens de lartiste, 1955. ONE OF THE 25 COPIES, numbered “26” on Auvergne paper including:

- Suite of the 30 plates printed on Rives paper,

- Suite of the 30 plates on tinted Auvergne paper,

- One signed drawing,

- One signed sketch,

- the two double-page plates printed on Japan paper,

- One engraving printed on silk fabric

- a second state of the frontispiece

FOLIO in a box, free leaves within thick paper chemise and tinted Auvergne paper covers – with a copper engraving on the front cover. The main body includes 30 engravings of which 2 double-page. Heavy wear of the box with many parts cracked, worn the thick paper chemise with joints reinforced. Interior with texts, plates, suites and drawings in excellent condition.

Magnificent copper engravings of Athens and Florence by Camille-Paul Josso accompanied by the texts of Charles Maurras.
