GREECE. Georgios I, 1863-1913. 100 Drachmai 1876 (Gold, 35 mm, 32.27 g, 6 h), Paris = A, mintage: 76 pieces, struck from dies by Albert-Désiré Barre, reeded edge. ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Α! ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ / A 1876 Mature head of George I to right; below truncation, in tiny letters, BAPPE. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ Crowned and mantled coat of arms of the Kingdom of Greece; below, 100 ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ flanked by the privy marks bee (for the Mint Director, Renouard de Bussière, 1860-1879), on the left, and an anchor (for the Engraver General, A. D. Barre, 1855-1878), on the right. Divo 44. Karamitsos 166. KM 51. Graded by NGC "MS 62". Top pop in both companies. Cert number: 2908889-002.
