Georgios I, 1863-1913. 2 Drachmai 1911 (Silver, 27 mm, 10.00 g, 6 h), Paris, Mule ESSAI, struck from an obverse die by Georgios Jakobides and an old reverse die by Albert-Désiré Barre, reeded edge. ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Α! ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ / 1911 Elderly head of George I to left; below truncation, in tiny letters, Γ. ΙΑΚΩΒΙΔΗΣ; privy marks cornucopia (for the Mint Director) and torch (for the Engraver General, Henri-Auguste Patey, 1896-1930) flanking the date. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ Crowned and mantled coat of arms of the Kingdom of Greece; below, • 2 ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ•; ESSAI in tiny letters in the lower right field. Divo -. Karamitsos T.76 (this coin mentioned).
