RESPVBLICA TIGVRINA Two lions standing opposite each other upon pedastals, reared up on their hind legs, the one on the left raising a sword in his right pay and the other, on the right, raising a palm branch; each supporting a cartouche containing the oval arms of Zurich; below, raised cartouche with the punched date 1715; below the lion on the left, signature of HG. Rev. NUMINE / PROPITIO / PATRIA / FLORET in four lines within a raised central circle, surrounded by two concentric rings of coats of arms. Schweizer Medaillen 233 (1714). Wunderly 844 (1714). Rare with the date 1715. Toned with a light reddish iridescence. Good extremely fine.
