The map depicts the eastern part of the Ancient World, including the Near East, Cyprus, Black Sea, Caspian Sea, Iran and Iraq. An inset map showing the modern eastern hemisphere with the western coastline of Australia. This is one of the earliest examples of commercial linen backed issued maps. Occasional short tears on linen.
