The letter was "NOT-CALLED-FOR" (rare handstamp in red struck at the Constantinople P.O.) and sent back 6 months later canc. "BPO CONSTANTINOPLE*10.JA.70". Few imperfections but a rare "NOT-CALLED-FOR" cover, the latest recorded use of the red handstamp (Parmenta).
