Identity tag of Dr. J. Belton inscribed "Dr. J.BELTON 44368 R.F.A. CE. SALONICA 15-18", made from a piece of metal (aluminum) from the German Zeppelin L.Z.85 which was brought down by allied fire while flying over Salonica harbour on May 5th, 1916. Framed, together with a large photo (printed in a magazine) showing the "framework of Zeppelin shot down in the Vardar Marshes, near Salonika". Ready to hang. Scarce & VF.
